Jon studied Computer Science at the University of East Anglia before taking up a position at Cambridge Consultants in 1999 as their IT department went through a restructuring process. Jon quickly progressed from a support role into Unix Systems Administration and remained with CCL for three years before leaving to take up an IT Manager position at CATS College under the Cambridge Education Group.
Three years with CATS, having made significant progress to the structure and management of their IT systems was followed by ten years spent at Frontier Developments, a computer games developer who grew and restructured significantly during this time. Jon’s final role before joining Bridge Partners was with another Cambridge start-up, spending a year defining their support structure, recruitment and processes as they transitioned from a small to medium-size business.
Bridge Partners offered an opportunity to put this significant experience to use where it was most relevant, providing an exciting challenge and opportunity for Jon and the benefit of his expertise for our client-base.
Away from the office, Jon loves challenges and competition, especially in sport, currently pursuing some stiff goals in golf while retaining an interest in football. Jon also has a young family, enjoying cycling and exploring whenever possible.
