Leased Lines
We can provide dedicated connections anywhere in the world, as secure private connections between office sites. For existing tenants on one of our connected business parks, this is simply a case of adding a connection to the secondary site into our existing network when we are then able to provide a secure through connection. Prices are dependent on location and bandwidth required.
Key Terms
A symmetrical service (SDSL equivalent) is one in which the internet download and upload capacities are the same, as opposed to an asymmetrical system, where the download capacity is greater than the upload.
A contended internet service is one in which the connection to the internet is shared by a number of users. The lower the ratio, the faster the minimum data rate will be.
An uncontended service is one in which the user does not share the line – it is dedicated to that one user, and the quality of the service, can therefore be assured.
